The Interact Club of Cowes was formed in March 2009

Interact is a Rotary International sponsored club for young people aged 11-18 years.

We are a thriving club, sponsored on the Isle of Wight by the Rotary Club of Cowes and the only Interact Club in our District. Interact gives opportunities for young people to develop confidence and learn new organisational skills, whilst working with others, having fun and making a difference in the local community.

Through involvement in International projects, young people can gain knowledge and experience of how Rotary International works worldwide.

Rotary sponsors programmes for young people, which include Youth Speaks, Young Musician, Young Photographer, Youth Exchange and RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. RYLA is an annual residential course in working with others on problem solving and leadership skills, recognised nationally by Colleges and Universities.

The Interact Club of Cowes celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2019. Over that time, we have raised considerable sums of money for local and International Charities.

If you are aged 11-18 years and would like to become involved in Interact, the contact for new members is Anna Morgan-Crockett, Youth Service Chairman.

Due to the current situation, The Interact Club of Cowes has suspended meetings, but members have met “virtually” via Zoom.

This will continue until things are resolved.
