The Cowes Small Ships Race is organised by ASTO in partnership with the Royal London Yacht Club and supported by Isle of Wight based organisations including the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes Yacht Haven, Herapath Shenton Trust, RLYC Youth Trust, Cowes Rotary, Delphie Lakeman Trust and others.

Every year, Cowes Rotary are just one of the Island Rotary Clubs to support the Mountbatten Walk the Wight. Along side Rotary and event supporter, Hose Rhodes Dickson, the Rotary Club provide Banners, signage and much needed marshals for the event. Isle of Wight Dance and Figure Skating Club

We have supported this club for the last two years, they are a very proactive group of young people supported by their parents. In spite of the lack of an ice rink on the Island they  have achieved national and European success. Their achievements have now been recognised locally when they were awarded the prize for outstanding commitment by the I.W. Sports Foundation. A cheque for £500 was presented to Nichola Roe on their behalf By Cowes Rotary on 7th March

Cowes Rotary Club Presidents charity – Challenge and Adventure This organisation works with disadvantaged and challenging your people on the Isle of Wight through adventurous and challenging outdoor activities, along side tailored support to help rebuild their confidence, self esteem and aspirations. Cheque for £500 was presented to Karen Eeles on their behalf by Cowes Rotary on 7th February.

YOUTH SPEAKS 2016

On behalf of Island Rotary clubs Cowes Rotary hosted the Island Youth Speaks on 10 February 2016. Winners go forward to the District Competition in Southampton. This year four schools entered twelve teams of excellent speakers.
