A perfect day with cloudless skies set the scene for another successful SAIL-OVER held at the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes. This year’s charity was the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
The Rotary Club of Cowes Balloon Rocket launcher was as popular as ever at this years Cowes Week with balloons kindly sponsored by the Southern Co-Op Store, Cowes and the balloon gas part sponsored by the Best Western New Holmwood Hotel, Cowes.
The rain kept away and the crowds came out as the procession wound its way friom Northwood Park to Cowes Parade.
With over 150 Rotarians attending this now well established lunch event, held at the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes, £1000 was raised and presented to Frank Fletcher, Chief Executive of the Ellen McArthur Cancer Trust.
The Rotary Balloon Rocket Launcher was busy all through Cowes Week and was popular with both children & adults, using biodegradable balloons & labels.
